Thompson & Horton Presents 2024-25 Special Education Training

This school year, Thompson & Horton’s Special Education Training Series has a special focus on behavior and discipline.

On one Wednesday of every month at 12 PM, Thompson & Horton’s special education team will deliver short, focused virtual training webinars—typically around 30 minutes—designed to fit into the busy schedules of administrators. Each session will break down key concepts, provide insights on developing issues, and tackle complex legal and practical challenges, helping you navigate difficult issues like Informal Removals and Dangerous Behavior.

Let our Special Education team sharpen your skills and keep you current with the latest updates and strategies related to the behavior and discipline of students with disabilities.

Register for one or more live presentations, which include Q&A, or purchase the Video(s) on Demand to access the training anytime throughout your organization.

Scheduled topics include:

  • September 25th • Child Find: When Disruptive Behaviors Signal a Need for an IDEA Evaluation
  • October 16th • Designing and Implementing an Effective BIP
  • November 20th • MDRs: Ensuring Adherence and Avoiding Legal Challenges
